Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety (no reg after 31.12.2010)
Suitable for
The Level 3 N/SVQ qualification structure has been revised and will be most useful to training providers and employers providing staff to supervise learners in the workplace. The revised structure will provide a flexible structure and increased opportunities for progression.
5 Mandatory Units:
- HSS1 Make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
- HSS 2 Develop procedures to safely control work operations
- HSS 3 Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
- HSS 4 Promote a healthy and safe culture within the workplace
- HSS 6 Conduct a health and safety assessment of a workplace
2 Optional Units from the following:
- HSS 5 Investigate and evaluate health and safety incidents and complaints in the workplace
