ILM Level 4 Diploma in Management
Objectives
Minimum 220 guided learning hours excluding assessment
to be completed normally within one year, or a maximum of three years
- Induction lasting no less than 3 hours
- Minimum 7 hours tutorial
guidance for assessments for the full award, or pro rata for single
modules, plus reflective learning and continuing professional
development are also essential features of the programme, to be achieved
through the CPD Statements
- Seven 30 hour modules comprising a total of
5 segments per module
- Collaborative learning is essential and may be achieved
by provision of an Extended Learning Experience or residential period
- Offered
either as an Integrated programme or as a modular programme, where
modules can be completed and certified individually
Each candidate must complete to a national standard:
- Either seven Work-based Assignments (WBAs) (approx 1200 words
each) based on a single module or fewer, WBAs combining modules and pro
rata in length and complexity
- A Management Report of 4,000-5,000 words in length
- A summative
