Suitable for
The award is designed for individuals who are committed

and external customers.
Candidates are required to prove their competence in the following
- level 2: Complete all of the following mandatory units

and fax
- Prepare and print documents using a computer
Complete one of the following optional units
- Record store and supply information using a paper based filing
system
- Enter retrieve and print data in a database
Complete two of the following optional units
- Provide effective customer service
- Maintain and issue stock
items
- Coordinate mail services
- Produce and distribute mail merge
documents
- Contribute to the arrangements of events
- Receive and assist
visitors
- Support the use of information technology
- Communicate information
electronically
- Produce simple spreadsheet documents
- Produce documents from

- Produce documents from recorded speech
- Photocopy present and
distribute complex documents

Objectives
The training includes group sessions and exercises to improve
skill and understanding, with a major part of the training carried out on
a one
to one basis with
the candidate in the workplace, observing the work and discussing with
the candidate how they might demonstrate and improve the level of service.
